Samsung Electronics has released a new generation of automotive grade UFS 4.0 storage for automotive applications, which doubles the sequential read speed compared to the previous generation and meets a wider operating temperature range and functional safety requirements. It is mainly aimed at intelligent cockpits and central computing platforms. With the evolution of vehicle electronic architecture towards centralization, the storage usage and performance requirements of individual vehicles are synchronously increasing.
